Our Story
Nearly 40 years of serving Westwood. Flame grilled, fresh ingredients, and a commitment to quality that hasn't changed.
Eduardo's Border Grill opened its doors on Westwood Blvd in 1987 — tucked inside a mini-mall at the corner of Westwood and Santa Monica, right in the heart of one of LA's most beloved neighborhoods.
The formula was simple and brilliant: use the freshest ingredients, cook everything on an open flame in full view of the customer, and never, ever cut corners. Just real, honest Southwestern-style Mexican food.
Founder Eddie Greenwald spent over 38 years perfecting this formula, bringing authentic Mexican food to west LA, and building an extremely loyal following.
In 2025, the Cofax team stepped in to carry Eduardo's legacy forward.

Watch your steak and chicken grilled on an open flame right in front of you. There's nothing to hide — every meal is made fresh, every time.
We source high-quality meats and seafood, always tender and packed with flavor in every bite.
Every ingredient sourced for quality. Every dish made to order. Fresh spices, hand-prepared — the way it should be.
Six freshly made salsas, twice a day — including our legendary mango salsa. The kind regulars have been talking about for 30+ years.
Eduardo's Border Grill opened on Westwood Blvd with a simple promise: fresh, flame-grilled Mexican food, made right in front of you.
Word spreads. UCLA students, Westwood residents, and LA locals discover the Border Burrito. A cult following forms — and keeps coming back.

Same flame grill. Same salsa bar. Same dedication to fresh, healthy, honest Mexican food.
Nestled at the corner of Westwood Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd, right near UCLA — Eduardo's has fed generations of Bruins, residents, and neighbors. It's the kind of place your professor mentioned, your parents took you before a Pauley Pavilion game, and where you brought your own kids years later.
Eduardo's isn't just food. It's a gathering place — the post-game stop and the Friday lunch tradition. It's the place that makes you feel at home even when you're far from it.
